I am having a brilliantly busy week.<\/span><\/div>\n
For one, we have just booked a surprise trip to Europe in a couple of weeks.<\/span><\/div>\n
The surprise is I thought I was going in August!<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
So I’m in that pre-travel panic planning mode.<\/span><\/div>\n
You know, the one I go into<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0whenever we leave the kids (all adults, I know, I need therapy)\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
home alone,\u00a0<\/span>looking after the Crazy Poodle.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
I buy up a years supply\u00a0<\/span>of toilet rolls\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
and enough dog dental chews for every pooch in Melbourne…<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n\n\n\n\n
<\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Domain, Auckland<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
I know, what a wonderful life I lead.<\/span><\/div>\n
I mean, really what IS<\/i> the point in unpacking my suitcase?\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n

So here I am dancing around celebrating the fact<\/span><\/div>\n
for the second year in a row,\u00a0<\/span>I’m going to avoid Winter.<\/span><\/div>\n

it’s from Betty in<\/span>\u00a0New Zealand, some of you will know Betty<\/span><\/div>\n
through her blogs photographing New Zealand.<\/span><\/div>\n

from a beautiful trip to Auckland last month.<\/span><\/div>\n

it’s just that we were all so busy gallivanting around Victoria at the time<\/span><\/div>\n
it was hard to mention!<\/span><\/div>\n

\u00a0I’ve won the most beautiful New Zealand paua shell necklace.<\/span><\/div>\n
It’s described as Hei Matau which is a highly stylised fish hook\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
typical of the Maori people of New Zealand.<\/span><\/div>\n
The swirl on the side is a sign of life.<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n
<\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

It means Good Luck or safe journey.<\/span><\/div>\n
