Happy Lunar New Year everyone! Whilst our Bangkok Chinese New Year celebrations were curtailed this year because of <\/span>the ongoing COVID-19 health crisis, no-one is going to stop the Artists in the Bangkok Community (ABC)<\/strong> Group from welcoming the Year of the Ox<\/strong> in their own creative ways.<\/span><\/p>\n

I am happy to introduce you to the Artists in the Bangkok Community (ABC) Group<\/strong> who have been painting and creating in Bangkok for the past 14 years. They are always so kind and welcoming of me, that I wanted to shine a light on their beautiful work and because they are always open to new members should you be living in Bangkok.<\/span><\/p>\n

ABC meet each Wednesday morning between 10 – 1 pm at Bistro 33 restaurant in the downtown Bangkok Sukhumvit area. Bistro 33<\/a> kindly provide a venue in exchange for coffee and lunch orders.<\/span><\/p>\n

HOW WE WORK<\/h6>\n

We have a beautiful light-filled room amongst the trees in which we create. There is no teacher, we provide the space in our busy diaries to commit to developing our art. All levels and all mediums are welcome. They are also very welcoming of this little wren blogger who once was intending on developing her artistic and creative skills but now mostly joins in to write and for the lovely lunch with this wonderful crowd!<\/span><\/p>\n

JOIN OUR ART CHALLENGE<\/h6>\n

During our Covid 2020 year, the group continued to paint even in lockdown. When creative mojos were challenged, we set a weekly (now fortnightly) prompt. Please enjoy some of our work with the prompt Asian Ladies. And my contribution to this Ladies in Asia<\/em> as published in Expat Life In Thailand.<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n
