It&#8217;s a reminder of lessons reinforced, that the secret to an a<i>uthentic, joyful, fulfilling life<\/i> lies within. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Not that readers of this blog might think I have anything but a fulfilling life &#8211; our lives are certainly Covid blessed here in Thailand, compared with the rest of the world.\u00a0 Protected as we are, our Covid experiences do bring angst of being closed-in. There are the uncertainties of the time and of political unpredictability, living in this region of the world. Our firmly shut borders have brought amazing opportunities, but they come at the high price of isolation from much-craved family connections.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Kamalaya gives you a precious moment in time amongst all the craziness to take stock, to press the pause button of life, to reassess, to work out what is important, to focus on self.<\/p>\n<p>I never went in search of life wisdom, that was a bonus!<\/p>\n<p>The Kamalaya visitor&#8217;s book is full of appreciation:<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Emotionally nourished, cleansed, toned, balanced and loved! My stay went by in a blur in less than 24 hours. I had a wellness consultation, cried in a Reiki session, and committed to returning at the earliest opportunity. Not for anyone else, but for me.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">A flash sale the following week, together with the availability of special price tickets on Bangkok Airways, provided the extra incentive and so, along with my Bangkok best friend, I returned to the warm embrace that awaits at Kamalaya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The staff smiled as I arrived. Each stay starts with a <strong>wellness consultation<\/strong> and a <strong>biodynamic analysis<\/strong> followed by a session with a <strong>naturopath<\/strong>. You can take as much or as little of the extra sessions as you want.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Free daily exercise classes, talks and other activities are on offer. My first stay, in a <strong>Sea View Villa,<\/strong> has an outdoor shower, on return, my <strong>Sea View Suite<\/strong> has a bath on the balcony! Each room gives your own private, intimate connection with nature. Individual Asian artwork has been gathered from around the region and reminds of their East meets West connection. The room colours are soft and earthy and the neutral colours all blend in total harmony. You know that every bite is literally gourmet wellness on a fork. We started the day with a choice of four health juice shots, turmeric and usually a couple of green ones &#8211; watch out flabby tummy help is coming! The food is filling and we often enjoyed a half portion for lunch.
