It&#8217;s been chilly this week. I scraped frost off the car windscreen on Wednesday which is virtually unheard of here in Melbourne.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\">Mutt&#8217;s happy to have been out for a decent walk, after a week where we were all office-bound, and he didn&#8217;t get the attention he thought he deserved!<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\">His elephant friends were found in the grounds&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\">at Merricks General Wine Store on the hinterland of the Mornington Peninsula.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<table align=\"center\" cellpadding=\"0\" cellspacing=\"0\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-GG1qaGqIXQ0\/V6ZwS7D60fI\/AAAAAAAAJOM\/uOj0KYbhFTgBCTbdE3qRyydF84IpWViAQCLcB\/s1600\/Elephants.jpg?ssl=1\" data-rel=\"penci-gallery-image-content\"  style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" border=\"0\" height=\"428\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-GG1qaGqIXQ0\/V6ZwS7D60fI\/AAAAAAAAJOM\/uOj0KYbhFTgBCTbdE3qRyydF84IpWViAQCLcB\/s640\/Elephants.jpg?resize=640%2C428&#038;ssl=1\" width=\"640\" \/><\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: small;\">Good things come in little packages!<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\">We had walked from Red Hill South to Merricks Station Ground&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\">along the disused Rail Trail.&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\">It&#8217;s a peaceful 6.5 km stroll&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\">past vineyards and pony paddocks&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\">through the pine trees and forests. We love this walk as it offers a different side of the Mornington Peninsula than our usual beach walks.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\"><br \/><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\">It was great to arrive at the Merricks General Wine Store in time for a cuppa and cake. They have regular exhibitions at the adjoining Merricks House Gallery&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;\">which showcase the talents of prominent Aussie Artists and Sculptors.
