We’ve had some big decisions to make recently <\/span><\/header>\n
which have involved new job offers in Asia.<\/span><\/header>\n

<\/span><\/header>\n
This would have our family spread over four continents this year!<\/span><\/header>\n
We have one daughter studying in America, <\/span><\/header>\n
Another just leaving for a volunteer project in Africa, <\/span><\/header>\n
My son and I need to stay in Australia whilst he finishes school <\/span><\/header>\n
and Mr Wren potentially disappearing off to Asia.<\/span><\/header>\n

<\/span><\/header>\n
Roll on my yoga retreat to Bali in May, that’s all I can say.<\/span><\/header>\n
Ohmmmmmmm…<\/span><\/header>\n

<\/span><\/header>\n
 However, there is just one small problem<\/span><\/header>\n
Now own up? <\/span><\/header>\n
Which one of you reported us to the RSPCA <\/span><\/header>\n
on account of potentially abandoning a dog??<\/span><\/header>\n

<\/span><\/header>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/a><\/div>\n

<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Last weekend’s post Doggie Dilemma<\/a> <\/span><\/div>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n

 was all about the Crazy Poodle.<\/span><\/div>\n
A little timid ball of Cavoodle fluff <\/span><\/div>\n
who is adored by all, <\/span>except maybe cats and possums <\/span><\/div>\n
and likes nothing better than to chase flies on the beach<\/span><\/div>\n
or be curled up at our feet. <\/span><\/div>\n
What would we do with the dog if we move to Asia?<\/span><\/div>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n
Mutt loved your comments last week.<\/span><\/div>\n
Thank you! <\/span><\/div>\n
He has been positively strutting around the park <\/span><\/div>\n
with new found confidence<\/span><\/div>\n
 after reading Gunilla’s, Mary Katherine’s and Eileen’s “adorable<\/b>” Minoru’s, Jennifer’s and Rajesh’s “Cute<\/b>” <\/span><\/div>\n
and Tracey and Jeanne’s “I love your dog”. <\/b><\/span><\/div>\n

<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
We all especially loved Beth’s indignant comment on behalf of Sir Pooch,<\/b> <\/span><\/div>\n
as he’s now insisting on being known,<\/span><\/div>\n
that Mutt is not going to grow up and go to college <\/span><\/div>\n
(Ermm he’s a poodle you know and they’re intelligent \ud83d\ude09 <\/span><\/div>\n
…and that he expected to be in it for the long haul.<\/span><\/div>\n

The crazy poodle braves the park with the big dogs!<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
It was reassuring to hear of Tracey friend’s <\/span><\/div>\n
who have taken dogs to Dubai<\/b> <\/span><\/div>\n
and I know Neesie recently successfully relocated her dog from <\/span><\/div>\n
Melbourne to the UK  – no problem for Muffty<\/a><\/b><\/span><\/div>\n

Much as we love the Crazy Poodle <\/span><\/div>\n
how fair is it to move the woolly lamb to a stinking hot climate? <\/span><\/div>\n
Where he has no garden, let alone an off leash park?<\/span><\/div>\n
Or where taking him for a pee involves a trip down from the 41st floor? <\/span> <\/span><\/div>\n
A lifestyle where we’d be often away on business trips or visiting the kids…<\/span><\/div>\n\n\n\n\n
<\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
The crazy poodle would have a very different life in Asia…<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
Would we be taking him for us, <\/span><\/div>\n
to have that wonderful happy, wagging tail <\/span>and enthusiastic welcome <\/span><\/div>\n
to greet us every time we came home<\/span>? <\/span><\/div>\n
Yes Lina you’re right, we need to ensure his happiness is our priority,<\/span><\/div>\n
I know I couldn’t bare to leave him but…<\/span><\/div>\n

As Pat and Mon both reminded us <\/span><\/div>\n
how we would be lost without him<\/b>, and as <\/span><\/div>\n
Mon says, we know that life wouldn’t be the same without him<\/b>.. <\/span><\/div>\n

But the news is that Mutt is not up for adoption <\/span><\/header>\n
and we are not abandoning him<\/span><\/header>\n
Nor are we taking him to a foreign climes<\/span><\/header>\n
We’re staying here in Australia<\/span><\/header>\n
 at least for a little bit longer…<\/span><\/header>\n

Excitement over, adventure cancelled.<\/span><\/header>\n
