I’m done chasing summers!<\/span><\/h3>\n

Time to regroup, reconnect with family, friends and life back in Australia.<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n
Of course he remembered me.<\/span><\/div>\n
His little heart beating so strong and his tail wagging so fast,<\/span><\/div>\n
he was practically in orbit!<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n
<\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
\n
Here he is, the Crazy Poodle, slightly more unkempt than when I left<\/span><\/div>\n
but still as adoring as ever!<\/span><\/div>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n
Mind you, I’ve noticed some new habits that have crept in<\/span><\/div>\n
whilst I was off on my wanderings…<\/span><\/div>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n
He seems to have forgotten all manners, <\/span><\/div>\n
to upgrade himself at every opportunity in my absence.<\/span><\/div>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/a><\/div>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n
Seeking out any elusive sunshine <\/span><\/div>\n
on the once forbidden spots <\/span>like the lounge sofas<\/span>.<\/span> <\/span><\/div>\n
Or <\/span>abandoning his doggy day bed in the garden, <\/span><\/div>\n
for the strictly ‘off limits for dogs<\/i>‘ garden chairs.<\/span><\/div>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/a><\/div>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n
Just a few ways he let’s me know <\/span><\/div>\n
he’s not impressed by my gallivanting.<\/span><\/div>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n
But I’m obviously going<\/span> to have to lay down the law <\/span><\/div>\n
BIG time to get him back on track!<\/span><\/div>\n

<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/a><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
It’s been rather a chilly shock being back in winter, <\/span><\/div>\n
Melbourne’s wet winter has been the coldest for decades.<\/span>

<\/span><\/p>\n
Whilst long and wet by Aussie standards<\/span><\/div>\n
waking up to a 5 degrees Celsius morning<\/span>
 would be considered positively winter balmy elsewhere…<\/span>
But here our designer mongrels flaunt the latest in <\/span>
Aussie doggie fashions, as if they are living through a Siberian winter !<\/span>

<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/a><\/div>\n

<\/div>\n

Still I can’t complain, my idea of chasing summers<\/i><\/span><\/div>\n
has largely worked. <\/span>Only two weeks till spring Woo Hoo!<\/span>
The yellow wattle trees are already in full bloom<\/span>
Which gives all us little Aussie birds something to sing about.<\/span>

<\/span><\/p>\n
<\/a><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

It has been fun returning to favourite haunts,<\/span><\/div>\n
meeting friends for a coffee and to catch up on everyone’s news.<\/span><\/div>\n
Hot drinks have been the order of the day.<\/span>

<\/span><\/p>\n
<\/a><\/div>\n


<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

We seemed to move effortlessly from brunch at Snow Pony to a <\/span>Show Pony.<\/span><\/div>\n

Here she is, the latest new addition to our family:<\/span> Little Miss Pebbles…<\/span><\/div>\n
She’s a two year old racehorse in the making.<\/span>

<\/span><\/p>\n
We only have a teeny, weeny bit of her,<\/span><\/div>\n
I’ve bagsied the nose <\/span>because as my good friend <\/span>
Neesie tells me, they win by a nose!<\/span>

<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
<\/a><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
It has been lovely regrouping as a family.<\/span>
although I use these terms lightly <\/span>
as numbers in our household <\/span>go up and down <\/span>like a yoyo.<\/span>

<\/span>We are like revolving doors here.<\/span>
The day usually starts with someone asking “whose in?<\/i>“<\/span>
and when we say whose in, <\/span>
we mean whose in the country!<\/span>

<\/span> <\/p>\n
<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

<\/span>Daughter No 1 has now returned from the UK<\/span><\/div>\n
but our soccer playing Daughter No 2 remains in Europe and <\/span>
has been replaced by a lovely <\/span>Canadian soccer player who is staying with us<\/span>. <\/span><\/div>\n
She also scored the winning goal at the weekend, <\/span><\/div>\n
so she has been a very good transfer!!! <\/span><\/div>\n

<\/span>Last week I took the three International players <\/span>
in the soccer team, <\/span>to the Mornington Peninsula.<\/span>

<\/span>I enjoyed showing off winters at the beach<\/span>
but I think they enjoyed the Hot Springs the best!<\/span>

<\/span><\/p>\n
<\/a><\/div>\n


<\/span><\/div>\n

I have always been of the opinion that if <\/span>
I can’t travel the world, <\/span>then let the world come to us!<\/span><\/p>\n
